This unusual work of pen-and-ink drawings amusingly lampoons those old, young and middle-aged men who visit the area recreational center (ARC) in Columbia, Missouri, and of necessity use the locker room to change clothes and shower. But it no doubt could apply to any recreational facility. The author is one of such (old) characters.
This book depicts some of the behind-the-scenes rhetoric of what those noble beings say and think who come to work-out (exercise) in hopes to shed some flab, tighten-up sagging muscles and generally improve their constitutions.
