Curdella Forbes was up to recently Senior Lecturer, Department of Literatures in English, University of the West Indies, Jamaica. She is currently Associate Professor of Caribbean Literature, Howard University. She is the author of Flying with Icarus and Other Stories and Songs of Silence and has published scholarly articles on Shakespeare, Caribbean literary theory and Caribbean literature.
