I'm a freelance journalist based in Dundalk, Ireland. I work presently for The Sunday World newspaper. I have worked in journalism for the past 30 years and I am author of the book No Deals (Poolbeg Press). I also recently graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. In the past I have worked with The RTE Guide, The Evening Herald, Woman's Way and many other publications. I have also edited GATE Magazine and work as an editor on a number of books. I also run my own Creative Writing venture - The Write Space, set up in 2012 to help children and adults develop their writing skills. I currently operate in the North East of Ireland - teaching over 100 adults and children a week. I use my own module that inspires passion for a life of writing and personal development. The vision for the future is to keep moving forward and to keep motivated. If we can help others along the way, then that's a bonus. I am also mother to Aoise and Edward and wife to Eddie. We have a normal life - a mortgage, car, school runs, dog, two goldfish and perhaps, a budgie.
