Born in 1955 in Geneva, Jean-Pierre Vallotton has won numerous awards in Switzerland, Belgium, and France. He is the author of more than thirty books and his works have been published in fourteen languages. He has translated Ion Caraion, Sylvia Plath, Wolfgang Borchert, and R.L. Stevenson. He has also written and hosted radio programmes on French-language stations. A member of the Pierrette Micheloud Estate, he is the president of the jury responsible for its literary awards. |
