The Art Center Tomas y Valiente of Fuenlabrada (Madrid) hosts from November 2013 to January 2014 an exhibition by French photographer Pierre Gonnord dedicated to the world of gypsies with the peculiar vision of the artist. Pierre Gonnord is a French photographer born in Cholet in 1963 and living in Madrid since 1988. His images ressemble those of Ribera, Rembrandt and Velázquez. His work, rooted in the portrait of persons "tells, under the skin, unique and unusual stories of our time" in his own words, has been exhibited in major museums, galleries and art centers in Europe and the United States.
