Zusammenfassung
With the war over in Kosovo, the United States finds itself in a new position with new concerns over a region with fewer peacekeeping and more reconstruction needs. This text gathers together memos like those that might have been presented to the President of the US at a policy meeting on the Balkan
Philip D. Zelikow was executive director of the 9/11 Commission. He is the White Burkett Miller Professor of History at the University of Virginia.
