In this board book adaptation, Hopper decides that he wants to be the Easter Bunny. He meets up with a plain brown hare and together they head for the hen house. A friendly chicken gives them each an egg to decorate, but the two rabbits manage to smash them while en route home. Never fear, once home, Hopper´s mother shows them the beautiful egg the Easter bunny left and all ends happily. Soft watercolor illustrations fit the simple story.
