Debbie Levy is no stranger to powerful nonfiction narratives for children. She is the author of New York Times bestselling I, Dissent; We Shall Overcome: The Story of a Song; Dozer’s Run: A True Story of a Dog and His Race; and a number of other nonfiction and fiction titles. She is a former lawyer and newspaper editor. She currently lives in Maryland with her husband.
