Donna, the first girl and second child of eight, was born in St. Andrew, Jamaica, but moved to the Cayman Islands in 1972, to be with her parents. Although talented in many areas, Donna is a Special Education teacher, a work place mediator and a restorative practices trainer by profession. She has a passion for reaching out to young people, especially struggling ones. Her love for people, and the innate desire to see them advance, moved her to co-found Reach International. Donna is grounded in her relationship in Christ, and is not afraid to share her experiences with individuals, or, show her scars, to Glorify God. While she loves reading and studying just about anything she has an interest in, her biggest desire is to see people come to the knowledge of Jesus Christ, as Lord and Savior. She truly believes that "all things work together for the good of those who love God," and she is living proof of that verse. She can be a little playful, and enjoys a good laugh. Donna is the mother of three children: Sharmaine, Wendy and Simeon, and grandmother to five. Other than God, she attributes much of her success to her children from whom she says she has learned a lot, especially in regard to her attitudes, behaviors and intents. Donna has ministered in the Cayman Islands, Jamaica, the Bahamas, Turks and Caicos and the United States of America, and is actively involved in her home church, in the Cayman Islands. |
