Jeune is an ordinary teenager with a not-so-ordinary name, or destiny. Living his comfortable suburban life, he wonders about life and the larger scheme of things. Little does he know that, even though he feels small by comparison, this world is more about him than anyone else.The idea for the story of Jeune arose from the premise: What if you woke up tomorrow and found yourself alone in the world? How would that feel? What would you do? What could that mean? I tried very hard to imagine such an impossible scenario and sketch out the story as if it was happening to me. In the end, the result was both a fiction story and a thought experiment that I think most people will enjoy.
