Susanna Isern has published over 60 books worldwide, translated into over a dozen languages with 14 available in the US and well-reviewed. She has been awarded the Silver Medal in the Moonbeam Children's Book Awards 2013 in the USA and her "Bogo the Fox Who Wanted Everything", published by NubeOcho, is a Junior Library Guild Selection. She works as children psychologist and writer. GÓMEZ studied Fine Arts in Salamanca, Spain. A new talent, she has worked for several publishing houses in Europe, such as SM in Spain, Le Petit Bulles Edition in France, and Scholastics and Sterling in the USA. She has published with NubeOcho Bow-Wow-Meow and the collection Hedgehog and Rabbit. Ben Dawlatly completed his masters in Hispanic Language, Culture and History with Translation Theory at UCL. He teaches Applied Translation at the University of Bristol (UK) and his technical translations focus on human rights and the environment, but his real calling is for fiction and poetry. He has translated several children's books for Nube Ocho and for Neem Tree Press. Rebecca Packard worked many years for a publisher in San Francisco, copyediting novels and short stories, science fiction, children's books, and manga. She now lives in Southern California and edits all sorts of things freelance, specializing in localizing translated works for an English-speaking audience. |
