A collection of cartoons, featuring various stars of the health system, which warns the government that it has been rumbled.
Aongus Collins comes from Cork. He has been a professional cartoonist and illustrator since 1986, working under both his own name and the signature, 'Scratch', including editorial cartoonist for the Evening Herald, the Star and the Sunday World. The cartoons in Government Health Warning were first seen in The Irish Times, for which he was produced a weekly health cartoon since 2003. Aongus Collins's work may also be seen regularly in the Sunday Tribune and the Irish Independent. He has illustrated many books, and written three of his own: The Legend of U2, 1990 (with Colin Kerr); The Legend of Charlie Haughey, 1988, with a new edition in 1998; and A History of Irish Sex and Morals, 2001.
