Dr. William Schey is a radiologist in Chicago. He was born and raised in Chicago and attended Northwestern University and medical school.
He enjoyed his career and was involved with many other interests including painting, sculpting, piano playing and writing short stories (or at least thinking about them).
He considered the products of his efforts modest and amateurish. He did produce this novella about boxing and the mob, generated because of some of his superficial contacts with a few colorful characters.
With an active, creative mind, guided by fantasy and humor (but a dose of truth) this book was hastily produced after 35 years of thinking about it.
His next novella should be ready soon. He hopes that he and the reader live long enough to enjoy it.
