In the wake of a presidential victory, protests and public accidents are rife. Salif Bal, an English teacher in training, befriends Amy Sarr, A history student. On his way to visit his friend Balla he is stopped by the police and witnesses the old political corruption first-hand. When 'accidents' start to plague those close to him and newly elected President Abu appears to be making good on his promises, Salif tries to take matters into his own hands and protect those close to him. All is not as it seems however. Stamina, courage, and a spirited readiness to pay the ultimate price for one's country, and the triumph of restorative ideals have the potential for prevailing over the most ruthless of authoritarian leaders...
